Cross Campus Communication - Nottingham Trent University: With 3 campuses the events team needed a way to communicate with all of their students effectively and in a very easy, manageable and none time consuming manner. With installations on each campus that can all be controlled from head office and on a local scale at each site their events communication and advertising has become a simple task. The screens at each campus have become hubs of information for students and staff.

Library Areas - Worcester University: This summer Sub.tv Info installed Worcester University's first Info installation in the entrance to their main library and Learning Resource Centre. The screen brings a focal point to the large entrance offering an up to date information display for all of its students and staff passing through on a daily basis.

Reception Areas - Leicester University: Two large 50" Samsung screens were installed either side of the main entrance, installed in portrait mode and running separate channels of information the dynamic layouts catch the eye of all staff and students entering the building. Building information, upcoming events and campaigns are displayed along with up to date RSS feeds to engage the passers by.

Commercial Areas - Surrey University: Increase profits through effective communication and advertising across campus and at the point of sale. Sales can be increased by effective onsite, direct marketing and increasing awareness of products, special offers and campaigns. Sports Centre - Worcester University: The sports centre uses the Sub.tv Info system to advertise all of their upcoming events, exercise classes, promotions, sports fixtures, opening times and special offers. Up to date RSS feeds and ticker messaging keep the screens content relevant and fresh, helping to engage the audience and draw them into reading the surrounding messages.

Other Installations:

Hull University - Hull SU needed a system that was easy to manage and could be installed very quickly in time for freshers. They required the software only option of Sub.tv Info to update an existing in house signage network. The software was remotely installed and setup with no need for an engineer to visit the site. Running through their existing screen network the staff are able to display the Sub.tv Info channel of information over a number of screens within their bars and reception area.

University of Aston - Over the summer the reception area at the Guild was being renovated. With a new look reception area and focal area for students as they enter the building they needed digital signage to display a wealth of information to their students and visitors. Two screens were installed, one behind the reception desk and one out in the open covering the second entrance to the building. The system is being used to display student advice information, run campaigns, display upcoming events and their RSS feed is linked directly to the presidents Twitter feed for up to date engaging content.

Newport University - The one signage screen, driven by the Sub.tv Info players and software was installed within the Shop window at Newport Universities SU Caerleon Campus. The screen faces out of the shop window into a busy, and vibrant corridor that links the main areas of the building providing increased impact from the high footfall in the area.

Institute of Education - Information screens displaying all of the Unions events, welfare and support information were needed to communicate to students in an effective manor, screens were placed at a main entrance and within the bar area to capture the highest number of impacts.

Leicester Gateway College - Leicester college was creating a new campus a few miles away from their existing location and with a new main building they required an up to date information focal point for all of the students and staff. The system has been installed in the café area where everyone congregates throughout the day. They are able to target the students with their important campaigns and information during the busy mornings and over lunch using the Sub.tv Info online scheduling interface.

Blackburn College - Blackburn's new University Centre building which opened in September 2009 has 3 screens situated in their reception and café area, displaying two different channels of information the college is able to direct their marketing and communication campaigns to the students.

Surrey University - There are 7 screens installed at Surrey University, 3 screens communicate information in the main IT suite and reception. The other 4 screens are based in the more commercial areas of the book and convenience shops. The shop screens are located I the windows to draw customers in with the special offers and area also located within the shops for point of sale advertising.

Kings College London - Sub.tv Info installed a total of 9 screens at Guys campus, 7 x 42" and 2 x 28" - Half of the screens are displaying their information in portrait mode and the other half are in landscape mode – this was done because the best locations for some of the screens were situated on pillars, which luckily were the same width as a portrait screen!

Sub.tv Airtime: All of the Airtime entertainment systems operating in over 94 Student Unions will be updated to Version 5 by the end of October 2009. Airtime Version 5 utilises the same Software developed for Sub.tv Info but retains the commercial entertainments aspect that the bars require.
